About the X1 Series

X1 is a complete series of interfaces for universal distribution branching in confined spaces: loop-through interfaces, galvanic isolators, converters, relays and intrinsically safe modules.

Specially for industries with extended risk, a summary of functional safety (SIL) and technical conditions.

This series requires less hands-on maintenance and installation on-site, beyond the reach of the enclosure and greater reach within the reach of backup roads.

Fault-tolerant architecture

  • Polarization keys that activate the correct positioning of each module on the motherboard, in ten ways for errors.
  • The gateway can identify the ID and characteristics of each module (AI, AO, DI, DO, relay, pass-through).
  • Fully redundant 24V DC power supply.
  • The functional safety of all effects is achieved through SIL3 and SIL2 certifications in accordance with the IEC61508 standard, confirming the level of compliance and system uptime.

The X1 Series is a comprehensive solution for connecting customer systems with a full range of modules. The compact design of the board and its modules reduces rack space and therefore costs. Installation and maintenance are simplified thanks to the system's innovative features.

Modules are available for all types of field signals, both analog and digital, along with safety relays. Interfacing with intrinsically safe loops is also possible, and the board itself can be installed in Zone 2/Division 2. Solutions for I/O boards with 8 or 16 channels can be tailored to meet all specific requirements.

The entire series is SIL 2 / SIL 3 certified, guaranteeing the highest reliability in extreme applications.
